This Sauvignon Blanc Semillon from hand-picked grapes of the South Okanagan boasts racy acidy and juicy, fruity flavours. Gently destemmed and pressed, this lovely blend was fermented in stainless tanks prior to blending. The nose opens to zesty white grapefruit amid hints of coconut and pineapple lifted by floral notes of jasmine.  The fresh acidity is well balanced by the honey notes and creamy texture of the Semillon.  Due to this wine's strong personality, it allows a bold marriage with well-aged cheeses or a multitude of seafood dishes.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Where young Semillon is all lightness and citrus, Sauvignon Blanc is racy in acidity. Frontenac Blanc is mouth-watering and semi-dry with fruity aromatics of tropical fruits. The three blended give rise to flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, and mango as well as honey making it a well-rounded wine as a summer sipper or complement to light seafood choices.
Winemaker Notes
The Sauvignon Blanc (75%) from Osoyoos boasts racy acidity and primary fruit flavours. The Semillon from Oliver (25%) has a beautiful rich texture that aptly compliments the acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes were gently destemmed and pressed to minimize extraction of harsh tannins, resulting in a delicate and balanced wine. Fermented at cool temperatures to preserve the bright fruit aromas and flavours, this blend offers notes of zesty citrus, passionfruit, and a hint of grassiness on the nose. On the palate, the wine is refreshing and lively with a crisp acidity that is well-integrated with tropical and citrus fruit flavours. This Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend is a perfect pairing for seafood dishes, and salads, or enjoyed on its own as a refreshing aperitif.
Food Pairing Notes
This new favorite is lovely paired with lightly seasoned seafood, crab cakes, fresh oysters au natural, or warm bruschetta with fresh buffalo mozzarella. Due to this wine's strong personality, it will allow a bold marriage with well-aged cheeses such as mature Parmigiano Reggiano alongside Prosciutto.
