Winemaker Notes
This is our first 100% estate grown single varietal Marechal Foch. This small lot was carefully fermented in macrobins and aged in 50% American and 50% French Oak. Half the oak was new and half on its second vintage. A healthy dose of tannins were added prior to ferment and then they were tamed by the 18-month barrel aging process. This wine is a true reflection of patience and North Thompson terroir.
